CAP SouthEast Region – Story of the month
Our (Civil Air Patrol – Southeast Region) squadron success story of the month for July in the Southeast Region is Peachtree City – Falcon Field Composite Squadron GA116 of the Georgia Wing. This group (senior members and cadets) is never idle when there is a festival or parade where they can take part and recruit for the CAP. They were out in full force for the 2015 Independence Day Parade in Peachtree City, giving out CAP brochures and squadron flyers all along the way! This squadron is always at or near the top of the Georgia Wing in overall membership, however they do not have “a” recruiting officer, this hardworking proactive group has FOUR designated and dedicated recruiting officers! The primary RRO is a Master rated recruiting officer; Capt Saboda and his recruiting staff consists of Maj Serafin, Maj Nipper, and Capt Johnson.
Take notice if you are in a small squadron and say you do not have a recruiting officer because you DON”T HAVE ENOUGH MEMBERS to have a recruiting officer; the reason you are still a small squadron may just be BECAUSE you still do not have a recruiting officer!
Great job Peachtree City 116!
